End of November I will inform you personally about the number of persons who ordered fish or meat as a main course.
Lunch will be finished around 13.30 - 13.45 o'clock as all the guests love to walk througk the Xmas market at Bearums Verk.

What: A stroll through the Christmas Market at Youngstorget in central Oslo followed by an outstanding Christmas lunch (Julelunsj) Buffet at the historic Engebret Cafe. This is a unique hot and cold buffet featuring traditional food. It is a great opportunity to sample Norwegian Christmas delicacies - like lutefisk, pinnekjott, ribbe, medisterkaker and Christmas sausages. Desserts and coffee are included.
Where: Meet outside National Theater station by the fountain.

Fun facts: Engebret Cafe is the oldest restaurant in Oslo. The building dates to the 1700s and the cafe opened in 1857. Ibsen, Greig and Munch all dined there and it continues to be popular with the nations's famous faces today. During the Christmas period 250 people each day will dine there; it is a very popular food destination for Norwegians and therefore a unique cultural opportunity for us!
