GYMS & HEALTH CLUBS 

Generally you pay a one-time subscription fee and a monthly fee, which includes access to the gym and aerobics and other classes. Many have crèches(childcare). Look at: Sats.no  or Elixia.no

Usually you need a green card and or a membership to play golf in Norway. It is possible to play as a guest. RENTAL OF HOLIDAY CABINS (“HYTTE”)

Norwegians live the outdoor life to the full in summer by the fjords on boats and in winter skiing in the mountains. Many Norwegian families have a hytte, a cabin in the mountains to which they escape for weekends and holidays. There are hytter available to rent all over the country all year round. The standard ranges from very rustic (no running water, outside toilet,) to quite luxurious (modern fitted kitchen, satellite TV, Jacuzzi).

Frogner Park

The tennis courts located in Frogner Park are a great facility with 9 clay courts and 3 hard courts courts. The facility is open from May 1 through September. The facility consists of tennis courts, locker rooms, staffed kiosk. Hire of courts at the kiosk.
